Miyajima Torii Gate | Knit Oversized Tee | Blue

For our new Knitted Tee, we adapted the same technique used to knit sweaters to integrate our design into the threads themselves. It is a medium-weight tee, just in time for colder weather.

The design is inspired by my travels many years ago to Miyajima ("Shrine Island"). It is closely linked to Itsukushima, a UNESCO heritage site that features a shrine and floating torii gate over the water. In my first travels to Japan, I was lucky enough to visit here (I had no idea it existed) and felt a sense of awe walking through Itsukushima. I hope to share a special memory through this design and inspire your own visit.
